Helmut Newton is no doubt this country's most famous photographer. He lived here in Australia from 1940-1957, before heading to London and the US where he became famous for his provocative and risque subject matter. But the fact was he was a great image-maker and now his works fetch high prices at the world's biggest photography auctions. Artvisory is delighted to stage a single-vendor auction of 13 signed original classic photographs, some of which hail from the family collection of another Australian great, photographer Wolfgang Sievers. The auction goes on view 19 February till Monday 22 February at our South-Yarra premises and the auction is at 6pm on Monday 22 February.
